Sara is a partner and has been an integral part of the Altum Partners team since 2013. She specializes in tax for corporate business clients in the software, mobile application, online services, consulting, design, and biotechnology industries, ranging from small startup businesses to large, multi-state, multinational consolidated corporations.
Prior to starting her public accounting career at a large regional firm in 2007, Sara worked for a startup software company specializing in mobile banking and wore many hats as a part of a two-person accounting team working with the CFO undertaking everything from day-to-day bookkeeping to month end closes and financial statement preparation for board meetings to helping with benefits and onboarding new hires. She left this position and enrolled in the SCU CAAP program to further her accounting skillset and decided public accounting was where she thrived.
Sara graduated from Occidental College with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and completed the Certificate of Advanced Accounting Proficiency at Santa Clara University. She is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Sara enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering for her favorite sports teams.
